The New (not so new anymore) Studio | atlanta portrait photographer
Hi my friends. As many of our readers know, we moved into our new studio last Spring. And I had every intention of sharing some images of it forever ago, but time got away from me. And um… yea… its October in 2 days. And I can’t hardly think about it without feeling my shoulders sag just a little. I know, I know, its the season of cool breezes, colorful trees, sweaters, and most importantly, no fighting over 7:30 bedtimes because the sun hasn’t gone to bed yet… But I just can’t help it. I am summer girl. I love love love summer. The heat. Humidity. Blue skies with zero clouds and air so thick you can cut it with a knife, bring it on.
Anyway…. the saving grace of Fall: cooler temps in which to shoot, earlier “sunset” times to not conflict with family time, ragweed, yes, ragweed is so pretty to me, and lastly… it brings families out of the woodwork to get that yearly family portrait. Since we have moved into our studio we have been doing some pretty cool things with families and really, all of our sessions. It’s the WALL GALLERY. We know, it is not a new idea, you all have attempted it a time or two. You have a blank wall and some pictures you want to showcase. As you try and decide on print or canvas or something else entirely, same size or various sizes, vertical or horizontal, color or black and white, framed or floating, traditional or modern, symmetrical or asymmetrical you nearly blow a gasket and tack an 8×10 on the wall with 2 5x7s beside it and call it a day… never knowing what it could really be. I am not knocking it… I’m just sayin’. Having been there before when trying to decorate the walls of my own home with photography, we decided it was our job to come to your rescue. To create for our clients a completely unique, totally custom, totally THEM wall gallery. The studio helps us do this job.
The studio features a couple offices, two meeting rooms, one for presentations, and a baby studio with the most perfect natural light ever. And among other things you will see several variations of a “wall gallery” on our walls. It is decorated like a home so you can get an idea of how decorating with portraits can enhance and compliment your existing decor.
So, that’s us and this is what we do: Create wall galleries. Put your story on the walls of your home. And rock it out like nobody’s biz.
SPECIAL: If this post inspired you to commission a custom wall gallery, mention it and we will give you 10% off of your wall gallery!
