Kasey {atlanta child photographer}

She’s a baby, really, only just turned 13! So I am not sure from where she gained this crazy confidence, but she was a blast, I repeat, a blast to photograph.

As a side note…  I could kiss her mother (not literally) for realizing the importance of capturing her child at this oh so fleeting time! Parents often have a need to capture their children in the baby and toddler phases. Next, elementary school arrives and they leave it to school “picture day” to document their child. Before you know it, you turn around and your baby is all grown up. *sniff, sniff*. You have a box full of snapshots taken at birthday parties, a few “cheese” smiles here and there yet no images coming even close to capturing the child in your heart. I don’t know about you, but I think it’s darn near criminal. So cudos to Kasey’s mom for letting me spend some time capturing her baby girl! And here’s to all the mommy blog readers waking up to the need to capture their babies through pictures. Ahem… pictures by yours truly. Yea! Cheers to that!!!

The Gonzalez Family | sneak peek {atlanta family photographer}

The image on the right says it all… new parents absolutely in love with their child. I think I heard Dad say “He is so cute!” about, oh… maybe fifty four times. Give or take. I love it! It is why I love my job. Because my clients are totally smitten with their kids and I have the awesome privilege of preserving those chubby cheeks, thighs, baby toes and oh my heart, those baby wrists (!) forever in these images. It just doesn’t get any better than that.

Isabella Sue

My cousin, Doug and his wife Jill, brought this sweet baby into the world just 6 days ago. Be still my heart. She is the first newborn to be shot in our fabulous baby studio! And I told them it would be WEEKS before I could even glance at these pictures, which is partly true, I am drowning in wedding post production over here! But, at the same time, I am furnishing the walls of my studio. Today actually. And I decided the studio would not be complete without Isabella Sue, in canvas, gracing the walls. So, there. As for the rest of the images, you and they will will have to wait! But for now, feast your eyes on her sweetness.

The long awaited affair, Jacob and Kaylan’s Primrose Cottage wedding. It may possibly be the event of the season! Primrose pulled it off with ease, every little detail was total perfection. I can sincerely say, yes, again, that I believe God hand picked my wedding couples for me, because as usual, I reveled in every moment. My face hurt at the end of the night from smiling. Every person there was full of joy and it was infectious.  Truly.  Don’t forget to check out their slideshow! :)
