Rene’s Bridal Portrait

I was pulling some images out to update my wedding site and remembered that I never showed Rene’s bridal portrait! I was dying to post it right after I shot it last month but of course, I couldn’t ruin it for Ryan so I had to wait for the wedding. There wedding was a couple weeks ago, scroll through and you can see those on another post.
I have to say that I LOVE bridal portraits. It doesn’t matter what you look like in blue jeans and a t-shirt, put a wedding dress on any woman and its like OMG, instant super model. It is my absolute favorite to have undivided time with the bride before the wedding. Wedding days are so hectic and everything happens so fast, I seldom get to REALLY capture the brides’ beauty on the actual day. And so many of my brides don’t let me do this session! It’s a CRIME, I tell you. A crime. Did I talk any of my brides into it with that speech??? If so, tell me you read this post and I will give you a complimentary 16×20 from your bridal session to show on your wedding day!

Jeremy & Stacie

These are my crazy friends, Jeremy & Stacie. Stacie was one of my college roommates and has been one of “my girls” since sophmore year. These are two of the most incredible people anyone will ever know. They are having a baby, as you can probably see from the bulge under Stacie’s clothing. They are due in June. I went to their farm a few weeks ago to do their maternity session. I am a little backed up, or a LOT backed up- so I decided I would at least give them some on the blog to hold them over until I finished with the rest! Enjoy!

Jeremy & Lindsay’s engagement session

its officially my anniversary. my husband is snoring. but that is ok. cuz he fell asleep before my actual anniversary rolled over at midnight… i am high on photos so i can’t sleep. i thought i would share some shots from my sister’s engagement session last week! she is getting married in June to her high school sweetheart, Jeremy. Who we all love dearly! She graduates from college on Tuesday and we are so proud of her!

Ryan & Rene FINALLY TIED THE KNOT! wahoooo!

Ok, so yesterday was my brother in law, Ryan’s wedding to Rene. The amazingly gorgeous Rene, who is every bit as wonderful inside as outside. (i know that is cliche, but its true!) It is late and my husband is being very patient with me as I CANNOT go to sleep until I have posted just a FEW of my favorite images from yesterday. We’ll call this “Ryan & Rene finally tied the knot! wahoooo! PART ONE” so stay tuned for more. My anniversary is in ONE minute, BTW. 6 years I have been married to the most unbelievably amazing man. every woman in the world should envy me!

Stock the Bar Party

My brother in law, Ryan is getting married this friday to the lovely Rene. You may remember them from past posts. Last weekend my mother and father in law had a stock the bar party for them. Katelin & Addy

I was in third grade, Mrs. Laney’s class I believe, when Kim walks into my life. She had sunkissed hair and the longest tan legs I had ever seen. I didn’t like her. Even at eight I knew competition when I saw it. You should see her now. But we will not elaborate on what the beautiful little Kim grew into. Lets just say we have been friends since that day. Her HUGE smile and her tendency to be the craziest (in a good way) person I had ever met, won me over. I hijacked her jeep and stole her children the other day. They were over due for a session.
