My baby girl turned FOUR years old today. It rained us out of our trip to the amusement park, but she will not be stopped. She is enjoying all the mounds of toys she got and is just fine! She had a big girl birthday party. She specifically said “all my friends to come over and play”. So they did. Also, I took some pretty cute pics of some of the kids. Moms, Click HERE to download!

I had the awesome privilege of photographing an amazing family last weekend. Meet Chad and Mandy with their gorgeous children, Anna and Jackson. But first, check out this little girl. Look at those lips! Daddy is going to have to beat them off with a stick, I am afraid…

We left Anna to play with Mini, her grandmother, while we concentrated on Jackson
then we let Anna hold her brother… she was very excited.
he was pooped. he slept through the last part where we ventured outside.
we had to resort to a little bribery at the end, but all in all it went fabulous!

Nicole. My sweet and beautiful sister in law. We shot these last month at her parents house (I have shot a few other sessions here). We had a blast and I wanted to share some favorites, as usual. I also created a SLIDESHOW if you would like to see more!

Who is this supermodel? you ask. This is my sister in law, Nicole. I have 188978 things to do, but I feel bad that we took her senior portraits like a month ago and she hasn’t seen a one. so i opened her folder, in about 3 seconds found this among many other supermodelesque (that is a word- it means… “like a super model, or to have qualities a supermodel might possess.” images and decided to post it. its taking about five minutes out of my day to do so, but i am doing it anyway. they are coming, Nic. Don’t be a hater. I haven’t forgotten you.
I love my engagement sessions. I smile the entire time I am sorting through the images. Josh and Paige were so fun to work with. I can not wait for their wedding in the spring. My first destination wedding!!! It is at the King and Prince Resort of St. Simons Island. Gonna make it a little mini vaca for my hubby and I. CAN. NOT. WAIT. Paige and Josh had the brilliant idea to toast their engagement at a local restaurant and bar, D’Morgans. The staff was courteous and let us use their very elegant dining room.

I shot a very sweet wedding a couple weeks ago for Mike and Rachel. We had a ton of fun. I have never laughed so hard at a reception than I did laughing at, ahem… excuse me, I mean WITH the guests at this reception. I did not laugh AT them… just with them. There were women, I mean, perfectly sophisticated women with the sashes from their dresses tied around their heads. Perfectly respectable women twirling around like ballerinas. Seriously. It was a hoot. I am not sure if they are going to love me or hate me when they see the reception images in their entirety. There are only a few in the SLIDESHOW!

Now…
Mike and Rachel have a darling little girl and this sweet baby was sick on the day of the wedding. It was the saddest thing I had ever seen. But Rachel was a beautiful and graceful bride, taking it all in stride. She took care of her baby and at the same time managed to pull off looking beautiful for her wedding day! Here are few images of the baby… I couldn’t resist doing a little mini baby session!
