Jeremy & Brandy | mini maternity

This is my brother, Jeremy and his beautiful wife, Brandy. My name is Brandy. My brother’s wife’s name is Brandy. My brother’s name is Jeremy. And my sister’s husband’s name is Jeremy. Down here in Georgia, there are only a few names folks like to name their kids.
We hooked up at the famous Covered Bridge for their mini maternity session last weekend. They are expecting their first child in February! A little girl.

Wedding with Sara D

I think your business name should be Sara D, my dear friend Sara. Cauze I likes to say it. Sara D. So, anyway, this is my fabulous friend, Sara D. Aka, Sara D Harper. Don’t be a hater on me, k? I thought you were cute in this pic, so I am sharing it with the WORLD WIDE WEB. She is single, gentlemen. Email me if you want her digits. hahahahaha.

She invited me to second shoot a wedding with her last weekend. The one good thing about second shooting is that you don’t have to process the 1878978 images that you have on your cards at the end of the night. I can just do what I love and hand over the cards. But at the same time, I gotta share some faves, straight out of camera I might add. Gotta love that.

she handed me off to shoot the groom. he was such a nice guy. I say that with such seriousness. such a nice guy. but here he is in all his wedding day studliness.
Photobucket
i loved this. maybe my favorite image ever shot in a wedding.
Photobucket
we did it!!!

The Elliot’s | lifestyles

This is the Elliot Family. I met them at the Covered Bridge last week for a lifestyles session. We had so much fun. Their one year old son gave me a run for my money. He is so completely adorable. He cannot and will not sit still. Like all toddlers. He is just a little advanced. One year olds usually aren’t that fast! Luckily my 5D is faster. scroll down for a few faves, but check out their slideshow for more!

Him, on the go…he fell down and has to find a leg to pull up on, but he was on a mission to find one.

And I gotta post this because the camera loves her. I love to take a few portraits of the mommy in my lifestyle sessions. It helps them remember that despite the fact they always feel frazzled and half put together (or is that just me?) they really are still beautiful!

Long time friends of my in laws, Rick and Chris, invited me to their home last weekend to capture their family. Their grown up kids, Joe and Robin had flown home for a visit. Joe brought his wife Andrea and their new baby Allie. I had a blast and am so thankful to have beautiful families like this, put their faith in me to capture their memories! Just the one…

I never did catch up on my TV. I sat down here a few minutes ago and had no intentions of blogging. I was going to sit and check email, maybe facebook and then watch tv. I had good intentions, but somehow got pulled in. As I was telling myself lies about being on here for just a minute, I had to open this image up and give it some love. Its been sitting patiently in its folder all week with no love. So I had to. how could i not? seriously, almost killed me to keep it to just the one. so, just the one for now! hang in there, you are first in my que tomorrow morning.

Olivia & Jake

I want to watch TV. I miss Grey’s Anatomy… i am so far behind. I have 3 episodes on Tivo. or dvr, actually. i got convicted about being less than honest. i don’t have Tivo. just dvr. same difference but not. I have missed the last three weeks of Lipstick Jungle- since they moved it to FRIDAYS, hello!!! is this the death sentence of a TV show? seriously. who watches tv on friday night? even if you are home, isn’t this the universal night to rent a movie? unless you are my nanny lewis who loves her some dateline. But still… got a few Private Practices waiting for me too. But honestly, I have come to the conclusion that people do what they want to do. They may want to do this or want to do that, but really they are pulled towards their strongest inclination. And more than watch TV, I guess I wanted to philosophize about what drove me to “play on my computer” (as my husband calls it)- as opposed to eat a bowl of yummy publix red velvet cake ice cream and catch up on weeks of bad corrupt television. Actually… I think I will go do that right now. But before I do, I am going to leave you with a few images of my precious niece and nephew, Olivia and Jake!
i don’t know what happened here. he found something exciting maybe?

pretty girl!
