Sisters…

I have two biological sisters, Tiffany and Lindsay. When my mother died, my dad remarried my wonderful step-mother (cinderella gave that word a bad stigma making me hate saying it), giving me another sister, Holly. We are all very close and truthfully there are no other people in the world I would rather hang out with. There is nothing in the world like sisters.They are friends that you can’t ever lose.
As I was sifting through some images for my new website (yes, I am A.D.D. and am upgrading my website AGAIN!). But I am really craving some LARGE images so I am getting a new site… so hush. And as I was saying…. sifting through 2008 images and ran across a few images that I had to share. Sisters. Abby and Brooke. These make me smile. Wanted to share…

Once again, Vivian and Curtis invited me into their home to capture their beautiful family. You may remember them from their maternity and then twins! newborn session last summer. The twins are six months old now and due for some updated pictures. and then of course- a new family photo! Here is a sneak peek of a few that stuck out to me…

“R” outdid his sis on quantity. he was content to stare at the camera as long as I would point it at him. “S” wasn’t too sure about it. But she did give me this shot and… be still my heart. it was all i needed.

Email Problems…

Hi all- I haven’t been receiving emails since sometime on Thursday. If you have sent me an email, please send it to brandelynshirley@netscape.net until this mess gets cleared up. I apologize for any inconvenience and hope to get it resolved shortly. I will also be out of town from tomorrow to Friday. My girls…

People always say “i bet you have the most awesome pictures of your kids”. No. Not at all. My kids are the HARDEST KIDS IN THE ENTIRE UNIVERSE to capture. They hate the camera. They look away the minute i lift it to my face. no amount of peek a boo behind the thing is going to get their attention. They know that Cinderella is not behind me. They know I do not have a butterfly on my head. They could care less how many times i GASP at something I see….. I think I may actually start paying someone to photograph my kids. Maybe I can do a trade? I shoot your kids, you shoot mine? anyone?

well… an hour and 800+ images later… we did get a few… but still… not exactly what i wanted…

i give candy as bribery and it makes her happy but still… no eye contact.

The Smith’s | lifestyles

I went to high school with Katie, but we really became friends while both attending the University of Georgia. I have photographed their son since he was 6 months old- way before I even knew what I was doing. But she continued to trust me to capture her family. Here they are, plus one. They have a new addition. This is the first time I have met their little girl. She is a precious DOLL BABY that made me think for half of a half of a second that maybe just maybe in some distant far off galaxy of a future in another lifetime i might like to have another baby.

They have a GORGEOUS house. it makes the perfect backdrop for all their images. Especially since it was like 20 below zero outside.

she was pooped and we had only just begun. is she flawless or what?!

MY FAVORITE…

these two are precious. and mainly because sibling shots- the images where BOTH kids are in an image and they are BOTH cooperating are hard to come by.

all their images had a “christmas-y feeling” which I love, but we did get a few that were just… i don’t know— normal? what’s the word for non-christmas-y?

Regular price for 5×7 flat greeting cards is $200 for 50. I am selling these for $100 for 50! All you need to do pick your template below- and email me ( brandy@brandelynlee.com)

1. Your front greeting “merry christmas!”, “happy holidays”, etc.
2. Inside text
3. names as you want them printed on the inside
4. address you want the cards mailed to.
5. color scheme
6. the image/s you want to use.

Please note: no changes will be made to any of the cards EXCEPT colors and text. Customizations other than that are $25 extra and are limited to changing orientation of a photo (horizontal or vertical), adding another frame for another picture, removing a frame, etc.), stripes verses floral, etc….
