Dierdra + Alyssa + Ava | lifestyles

I can’t stand it. I was going to let you feast on my babies for a few days… but I can’t stand it anymore. Looking through this session I just can not wait to share it. I think it is my all time favorite. I don’t know why, really. Maybe its the yummy light. Maybe its the colors? These outfits were rockin’ my world. Maybe its the sassy way the girls worked the camera. Maybe its that Dierdra is this strong, beautiful, amazing single mother. (yes, gentlemen… I did say single) Maybe its the way her love for her sweet girls lights up her face. I don’t know. But I think it might be my all time favorite. And its killing me. I repeat. Killing me to only share these with you. I had tagged about 15 I wanted to share but… that’s just crazy.
Going to start in reverse and show you one of the last ones of the shoot. Just because… Dierdra is a hottie.

what I wouldn’t give to have some shots of my girls together without scowls on their faces…

This kid is a star. I’m telling you. She just does that. Plays with her hair. Tilts her head just so… come on people. Gap. Abercrombie Kids? Somebody’s gotta want her.

My sweet babies…

Ok, the title is a little deceiving. I very nearly lost my religion trying to accomplish these very few cute pictures of my children. They despise my camera. They do not think any of my jokes are funny. They do not care if I have a butterfly on my head. They couldn’t care less that I have a stale candy cane in my shoot sac with their precious names on it…
Despite the cost… I did manage to get a few cute looks from my sweet babies…
My firstborn. Diva Extraordinaire. Overdue for her five year shoot… but whatever. If I can’t get there on time, get there when I can, right?

And my baby. Charlotte. What can I say?

Baby Sam | lifestyles

Remember Sam? Well, baby Sam has grown into quite the little studly 4 month old. Look at that hair. All stylin’. So So So cute. It was one of those sessions that I would snap and say “oh my goodness…” And then I’d snap and say it again. And again. And again. Because he is that cute.

He’s all like… “wassup?” Look at his hand.

My favorite portion on the session … bathtime.

Charlie + Shelly | weddings

It was 9:59, Saturday night. I flew into Chic-fil-a on two wheels and got a milkshake (all I ate for a 10 hour stretch that day, so check your judging… you know who you are) Drove like my hair was on fire all the way home. Drug my 700lb suitcase of gear slowly behind me. I kicked off my shoes, collapsed on the couch and breathed a sigh of contentment. After recounting to Chad all the wonderful things from my day, I threw myself onto the bed. Teeth unbrushed. What was left of my makeup, unwashed. Minutes later, I recieved this text from Shelly and Charlie “Just wanted to say thank you for capturing our wedding. I feel so blessed and honored to have you as our photographer. You rock!! God bless” What a fabulous way to end the day! So, right back at you, Shell. You and Charlie were a blast. I can’t say enough how blessed I feel that you entrusted capturing this day in your lives to me.

So without further ado… The long awaited wedding of Shelly and Charlie. You folks are well loved… I think my stats have tripled this week with people anticipating your wedding sneak peek! Maybe I should drag this out a little longer…. hmm?

Wade + Suzanne + Jacob | lifestyles

I am doing something I rarely ever do and I feel the need to confess. I am getting out of chronological order with my sessions and weddings. Technically…. Shelly and Charlie are in the que to be blogged next but their proofs are taking forever to export from LR. So… I just decided to sneak myself a peek at Wade and Suzanne’s stuff while I was waiting. So… I am sorry, Universe. I will not do it again. Unless Lightroom is being slow again. Of course.

Now that I got that off my chest. Wade and Suzanne with their hunky baby boy. I can’t stand it. They are the coolest people ever and I love love love working with them. I could shoot them all day and totally ignore that Wade has a day job and is kinda over me and my big fat camera. Yep. I could. So… anyway. That is that. Here is a few keepers from their session!

This family… Seriously. Gap called and they want to use you as their cover family? I told them sure. JUST KIDDING. No, Gap didn’t call me, folks. But they should…

Jacob needed a break and yours truly can not, i repeat, can not be idle with a camera in my hand. Wade, Suzanne. Act like you like each other. I think they do…

Oh my sweet goodness. Give me that baby.
